Thinking Scan works without an account. Your scan library, notes, collections, translations, restyled images, and tasks are stored in this browser on this device.

When you request an AI action, the image and the text needed for that action are securely sent for processing. Do not scan material you are not entitled to use.

The app uses your browser’s local storage system to keep scan records available between visits. This includes the source image and outputs you choose to save.

There is currently no account sync. A different browser, private window, cleared browser data, or another device will not have the same library.

An image is transmitted only when you ask Thinking Scan to read, question, focus, restyle, simplify, or translate it. The related prompt and scan context may be included so the requested result can be produced.

When you load an image by URL, the app retrieves that public HTTPS image on your behalf. Private-network and local addresses are blocked.

• Delete an individual scan from the Library.
• Delete individual tasks from Tasks.
• Clear this site’s browser data to remove all locally stored records.
• Use a private browsing session if you do not want records to remain after the session.

Deleting local data cannot retract a request that has already been processed.

Avoid uploading identity documents, private correspondence, health records, financial records, intimate imagery, or images of children unless you have a lawful reason and understand the risks.

Thinking Scan is a general-purpose visual tool, not a service designed for children or for processing highly sensitive records.
